What has changed?

The MIU Alumni A1 license storage limits have changed. This license has 50GB of Exchange Mailbox and 100GB OneDrive storage limits.

Why is Microsoft changing these licenses?

What do I need to do to prepare?

What happens if I am over the storage limits?

  • If you are over the limit for Outlook, you will not be able to send or receive email until your mailbox is under the storage limit. Messages sent to your account will be bounced with a message stating "mailbox full" while your account is over the storage limit.
  • If you are over the limit for OneDrive, you will not be able to edit, upload, or modify files on OneDrive until you are under the OneDrive storage limit. If you stay over the OneDrive storage limit for 6 months, your OneDrive content may be subject to deletion.

Can I get more storage?

  • Unfortunately, no. Microsoft does not provide the ability to extend storage quotas for A1 licenses.
